Burlington, Vermont

It’s a bucket list item of mine to visit all 50 states. The last two states I needed to visit in the New England area were Vermont and New Hampshire. Some of my family was visiting, we made the trek up to Vermont. We stopped by the Ben + Jerry’s ice cream factory then headed to Burlington.

If you have not gone to Vermont. You need to go. Especially in the fall. Vermont is fall goals. The trees are beautiful fall colors. The downtown of Burlington is adorable. It’s very picturesque. We spent a lot of time on Church Street, which is a marketplace with cute shops and eateries.

Downtown is also very close to Lake Champlain. You can see the New York coast from the side you’re standing on in Vermont. It was extremely windy the day that we were there, so we didn’t stay too long by the lake.

Of course, the best thing to do when visiting a new spot is to roam around! We went down side streets to see what was around. We found some cute churches, buildings, and murals!

Key Spots:

  • Church Street Marketplace

  • Lake Champlain

  • Dine: Vermont Pub

I’m pretty sure I left a piece of my heart in Vermont. Burlington has definitely made the list of one of my top favorite places.
