Guys. Let me tell you about Lucky Bird in Los Angeles: IT’S SO FRICKIN GOOD.

I ordered the chicken sandwich without pickles {because, ew} and I think it was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my whole life. It’s been at least a month, but I still dream about it.

What is the chicken sandwich? It’s a chicken thigh, home made pickles, smoked pepper aioli, butter lettuce on a milk bun.

The fried chicken melted in my mouth. I’m a sucker for fried chicken, but I don’t think I’ve ever had anything like it. The aioli was a delicious compliment to the chicken and milk bun. It was a little messy to eat, but I didn’t care, it was so, so, so good. It doesn’t come with anything aside from the sandwich, but there were sides to choose from. At first I thought they had mac + cheese but upon re-reading the list, I discovered it was macaroni salad. I’m pretty sure I just saw macaroni and assumed it was mac + cheese. I’m glad I just got the sandwich because it filled me up.

They have seats at their booth, but my friend ordered a meal from a Thai booth, so I went to meet up with her at a table within Grand Central Market.

side note: the tasty adult beverage was from Golden Road, a bar within Grand Central Station.
