What you'll need:
- Butternut Squash
- 8 Shrimp
- 1/2 cup Quinoa
Broccoli, Butternut Squash + Shrimp Quinoa Bowl
Step One | Preheat your oven
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Step Two | Bake the butternut squash
I have never made butternut squash before. I have recently discovered I love butternut squash so I decided to try making it. I found this great recipe on how to bake the squash. I only made half of the squash as I did not need the whole entire squash to be baked.
Step Three | Bake the broccoli
Wrap the broccoli in aluminum foil with a couple of slices of butter and bake for 30 minutes.
Step Four | Bake the shrimp
Wrap 8 pieces of shrimp in aluminum foil with a couple slices of butter sprinkled with pepper. Pop it into the oven for 10 minutes.
Step Five | Cook the quinoa
I made 1/2 cup quinoa as a full cup gives me more quinoa than I need for one sitting. Follow the instructions on your quinoa bag.
Step Six | Combine
Pour the quinoa into a bowl. Add the shrimp, broccoli, and butternut squash on top. Mix it up as you please.
Step Seven | Enjoy!
