I met my friend, E, at Ball Square Café over the weekend. I forgot that The shuttle bus was replacing the T for four stops this morning {such a hassle!} and arrived later than planned. However, when I arrived, we were seated right away. Thanks, E, for waiting in the cold for me! If you're going to eat brunch at Ball Square Café, be prepared to stand in line. This place is hopping. There are not a lot of tables inside, so there is always a line waiting to get inside. However, if you're going as a duo, it will be quicker to get inside.

The inside of Ball Square Café is very charming, but since it's a smaller space, the tables are very close to one another. If you don't mind the off chance of bumping elbows with a fellow bruncher, I recommend stopping by. If you rely solely on public transportation, it is a 15 minute walk from Davis Square. If it's a nice day, the walk is great. Plus, the area Ball Square Café is in is adorably cute.

The menu is very broad with something on the menu for everyone. I was torn between so many things. However, in the end, I decided to try the Meat Lovers Omelet. For the Meat Lovers Omelet, you can choose one type of meat to be inside the omelet, adding more kinds of meat for an additional charge. I chose to add ham and turkey bacon. For my sides, I chose to try Omar's Home Fries {grilled mashed} and a blueberry muffin. E tried the Broadway Blues breakfast plate. This dish was a two egg cheese omelet, bacon, a choice of Omar's Home Fries or Diced Potatoes and a blueberry muffin.
