Ciscos Mexican Restaurant

Two words: Happy. Hour.

Massachusetts has rules about Happy Hour on drinks, so happy hour doesn't exist here. However, in many other states, there is such a thing as a happy hour. My sister, her boyfriend and I hit up Ciscos Mexican Restaurant to cash in on their Happy Hour deal before it was done.

Pro tip: In order to participate in Happy Hour, you have to sit in the bar area. They won't give you the special discounts in the seated area.

I ordered a Cisco's margarita {$5.75!!}, taco de Cisco's and taquitos. While we were waiting for our food, Miller Lite was doing a promotion and giving out free beers and bottle openers. Not only were we getting great deals on Happy Hour, but we were winning with free beer.

A little tip: when you order the taco de Cisco's be specific in how many you want. The menu doesn't say how many you get. I received two and had to pay $3 for each one. Which is fine, but when the plate came I thought it was two for $3.

You can choose what meat you want inside of your taquito. While I was mulling over what meat I wanted, the waitress said I could do half of one meat, half of another meat. I chose to go with the steak and chicken taquitos.

We also ordered tableside guacamole. They bring a cart of avocados, cilantro, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos to mix the guacamole right in front of you. You can tell them what you want to be added in your guac. We asked for cilantro and tomatoes to be added {yes, I said yes to tomatoes for my sister}.

The food was wonderfully delicious. I recommend going to Ciscos Mexican Restaurant for their happy hour or any time because everything was superb.
