Loretta's Last Call

1 Landsdowne Street | Boston, Massachusetts | Menu

I have been wanting to go to Loretta's Last Call for brunch for so long. I finally made my way to Fenway for brunch! I was joined by one of my friends and BOS Lady Project team member, Carlen. I love Loretta's Last Call. I definitely don't go there enough. It's the perfect place to go if you love country music.

Their brunch menu isn't huge, which is perfect because sometimes I get overwhelmed when there are too many options. I was torn between trying the Peanut Butter + Banana Stuffed French Toast, Waffle + Strawberries, and the Truck Stop Breakfast. They all looked so delicious. However, the Truck Stop Breakfast looked like it would be a lot of food, so I eliminated that option fairly quickly. Maybe if someone loves chicken + waffles as much as I do we could split that option. Carlen debated between the Peanut Butter + Banana Stuffed French Toast and the Jalapeno, Cheddar + Bacon Cornbread Benedict. The winners? Waffle + Strawberries and Jalapeno, Cheddar + Bacon Cornbread Benedict. We both ordered mimosas with champagne. We did not feel adventurous in trying the Trailer Park Mimosa with high life + OJ.

I like the vibe of Loretta's Last Call. There is usually live music {the band came on towards the end of our meal} to enjoy while you eat. Carlen and I were busy chatting and it did not seem as though a long time had passed before our food came. It looked so delicious!

Waffle + Strawberries | Strawberry Sauce, Bourbon Cream + Maple Syrup

The strawberry sauce used on the waffles was absolutely ah-mah-ziiiiing. I'm also not a huge fan of whipped cream but decided to try it and it was delicious. It was the meal I needed all morning.

Jalapeno, Cheddar + Bacon Cornbread Benedict | Griddled Tomato, Poached Eggs, Barbecue Hollandaise + Home Fries

Carlen's meal looked delicious. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of cornbread or tomatoes, so I opted not to try it. However, it was super tempting as the bacon was cooked into the cornbread. Yeah, how amazing does that sound? The home fries looked equally delicious. Carlen said her meal was great and delicious.

Overall, it was a great meal, a great time, and a great Saturday!
