Six Things You Must Visit In Portland

Portland is now one of my favorite cities. It's a great coastal town. Here are six things you must visit while in Portland!

One | The Holy Donut

Before I went to Portland, I researched the city and looked at different city guides. Every city guide listed The Holy Donut. Let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Make a point to go in.

Two | East End Beach

East End Beach is the only public beach in Portland. It's not very big, but not a lot of people are there either. A lot of people were fishing along the rocks or kayaking / paddleboarding. It was nice to sit by the rocks for a bit and feel the breeze. Walking around away from the water was very humid.

Three | Park Street

Park Street is a hidden gem. There are cute little houses where each door is a different color. Walk down the street just to see it.

Four | Portland Lobster Company

It was very hard choosing a place to eat at, as there were many recommendations. I chose to eat at Portland Lobster Company because I wanted to eat a lobster and not a lobster roll. Browsing menus, I liked the lobster dinner PLC offered the best. It's primarily an outdoor restaurant. They had a live band playing while I was there, so it was great listening to music while tearing apart my lobster dinner.

Five | Love Lock Fence

I love to see love lock fences. Not a lot of cities have them, but the fence in Portland looks as though it was about to topple over. I liked looking at the different locks and seeing who had left the locks behind.

Six | Old Port

Old Port is a section of shops and restaurants in Downtown Portland. It's a very cute area to stop at and look at the different shops.
