Over the weekend I went to the SOWA Vintage Market / South End Open Market. The two markets are a block from each other - very easy to get them confused. It was a lot of fun looking at crafts, eating food truck food, looking at local vendors, and vintage items! They even had hula hoops out for people to enjoy!
I call my coral jeggings from Primark my weekend pants. They're a little bright - I do not think my co-workers would be able to handle the awesomeness of the pants. The jeggings are a great way to spice up your wardrobe. My shirt, I've had for a few years and absolutely love it. It's light and airy. It is a tank top, which I would have loved to show the back of if it had not been overcast! To top off my look, I added one of my favorite light jacket essentials - my jean jacket!
Then, we stumbled across some hula hoops. You could pick up a hula hoop and hula hoop to your hearts content. I have not hula hooped in quite a while. It was so much fun. I forgot how entertaining it could be.
Admiring the artwork!
We discovered a free face painting booth. So, naturally, we had to get our face painted. I decided to only get something on one side of my face, as I thought I would be annoyed with paint over all of my face. The face painter was very talented! It did not take very long to have my face painted.
I spotted this great mural across the street from the South End Open Market. I thought it would make the perfect back drop. However, there was a lot of wind, so it was hard to contain my hair.
