Did you know Bank of America has partnered with select museums in a variety of states for free admission into the museum?
Well, they do! Through their program, Museums on Us, you can visit a variety of museums FREE on the first full weekend of the month. All you have to do is go to the ticket counter, tell them you're there for the free Bank of America card holders weekend, show your card and they'll print out a free ticket for you.
It's so simple.
I've seen this advertised for a while but was always hesitant on if it worked or not. I decided to try it out on the first full weekend of January and it worked! I really shouldn't be surprised, I was just really excited on how seamless it was. I chose to see the MFA in Boston. I've been wanting to visit for a while and I had nothing planned for my first Saturday of the year, so why not visit a museum? If you haven't been to the MFA yet, I highly suggest you go.
I went with my friend, D. We didn't explore the whole museum, as we were hungry half way through. However, we saw both floors of their Contemporary art section (which is one of my favorites), and most of their European collection. I was in awe of the works of Monet and Degas. It's incredibly hard to attend the museum and not leave inspired. Unless you're not an artsy person, then maybe you won't leave feeling inspired. I, however, left feeling very inspired.
