A few weeks ago, my friend told me about this app that tracks how much water you are supposed drink throughout the day. I thought it seemed cool and all but forgot what the name of it was so I never downloaded it. I was [and still kind of am] a horrible water drinker. I never really drink as much as I am supposed to. Now that I am doing this fitness challenge, I saw another girl use the app. I asked her what the name of it was so I could download it and help me out.
The name of the app is : The Plant Nanny. Basically, this app helps keep you on track of drinking how much water you need annnnnnd in the process of keeping track you grow a little plant! I think this is so awesome because I don't want my plant to die, so I make sure to drink my water. If you don't drink your water in a certain amount of time, then the app will remind you to drink water so you refuel yourself and your plant!
When you install the app, you tell them how much you weigh, how tall you are, and your gender. they ask if you are active in exercising. Then they tell you how much water you should be drinking based off of what you tell them. Based off of my height, weight, and being active in working out, I should be drinking 96 ounces of water a day. That's 6 water bottles a day.
It's a pretty cool app. If you're looking for a way to track your water and want a fun way to do it, I definitely recommend this app!
