Review | Weird Kids

Last Tuesday, We Are the In Crowd released their third album, Weird Kids. WATIC is one of my favorite bands, so I was quite excited when I found out that they would be releasing new music. It has been two years since WATIC has released any new music. The sound on Weird Kids is a bit different than the past two albums WATIC has released. At first, I didn't really like it because it sounded unusual for them. The more I listened, the more I began to like it. I'm not sure how to explain the sound ... just that it sounded different. It wasn't like the rock sound that they had previously. Although, as the album went on I could hear the "WATIC" sound. I really love Tay Jardine's voice. There is something about it that is raw and edgy and powerful. I never really realized how powerful her voice was until I really listened to the second album. She's frickin amazing. I wish I had some of her talent..

My favorite tracks are: Dreaming Out Loud, Long Live the Kids, Windows in Heaven and Remember [To Forget You].

Tracks: Long Live the Kids The Best Thing [That Never Happened] Manners Come Back Home Attention Dreaming Out Loud Remember [To Forget You] Don't You Worry Windows in Heaven Reflections

I definitely recommend buying the album. Especially if you're a fan - you don't wanna miss out!
