Since it's December, it's FINALLY Christmas music time. Okay, maybe some of you have already started listening to Christmas music, but I always hold out until December 1st. Let November be it's own month with it's own holiday peeps! Anyways, a lot of artists release Christmas albums and I have just a few that I have to listen to every year. I will never, ever get tired of listening to them. Here are my top 5 Christmas albums that I like to bump:
[FIVE] A Merry Little Christmas by Lady Antebellum Lady Antebellum. Their voices are just pure joy to listen to. Which is why I love this album. I love anything they put out. But their harmonies and Christmas music...!? AMAZING. Check it out. Go to your local Target and by a copy!
[FOUR] Wrapped in Red by Kelly Clarkson This year, I was thinking smart. I knew Kelly Clarkson was releasing a Christmas album in October, so I asked for it for my birthday. I knew if I asked for it for Christmas, I would have to wait a whole year to listen to it becauuuuuse, basically Christmas music is over after the 25th. Or, technically, I would only have one day to listen to it, but you're with family so you can't really listen to it. Anyways, point being, Kelly Clarkson has some amaziiiiing vocals and has made a fantastic Christmas album. I lovelovelove all the songs she picked to put on there. She has classic Christmas songs and new songs. Definitely go grab yourself a copy!
[THREE] Let It Snow Baby... Let It Snow by Relient K If you like a little bit of rock, check this album out. Relient K is a Christian rock band that has just the perfect amount of edge to listen to. As per usual for Christmas albums, you have your Christmas songs that everyone knows, and there are songs that the band had added that are new.
[TWO] PTXmas by Pentatonix A cappella amazing-ness. All the tracks are amazing, but my favorite is Carol of the Bells. I have always loved that song so when I found out they added it, I knew it would be my favorite. They decided to re-release this album as a deluxe album, adding two new tracks.
[ONE] Home for Christmas by NSYNC NSYNC. Christmas music. Best deal for your buck. This album NEVER gets old. I mean, how can you get tired of listening to that awesome 90's/early 2000's boy band?? This was the first Christmas album I owned and, honestly, it is my all time favorite. I always get new Christmas music, but nothing can ever beat this album. I lovelovelovelovelovelovelove Pentatonix and think they are absolutely amazing, and you would THINK that they would be my number one, but you can't beat NSYNC. Ever.
There you have it. My top five. You can love it, you can hate it, you can maybe perhaps like it... But it is what it is. :] If you're in my car, you'll be hearing one of these five albums at some point.
So, what are your favorite Christmas albums? Are any of these on your list?
