Pour House

907 Boylston Street #21 | Boston, Massachusetts | Menu

I was very excited to try Pour House. It's a divey bar in Back Bay - but the food is phenomenal. The place was packed and we had to find our own table. Luckily we found a little two seater in the back of the room.

There are a lot of items on the menu to choose from - which is great but also brunch overload. I decided to get the french piglet. This includes french toast, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and ham. My friend decided to get the waffle piglet which was the same as the french piglet but instead of french toast, it was a waffle. If you ordered a piglet pan, you could get $3 off when you ordered a mimosa. Win-win.

The meal was massive, but I liked the option of being able to have a little bit of everything. Often times its hard to choose between bacon, sausage and ham. Sometimes, I want them all! I did not finish the entire thing because it was an overload, but I ate as much as I could. Everything was delicious. The french toast was buttery and basically melted in my mouth.

I highly recommend going to Pour House for brunch. Be prepared to wait a bit if you go later in the morning because it is a popular spot!
