When you ask me about Atlanta, one of the main things I talk about is food. The food was very delicious. Here are a few of my favorite places:

Fried Chicken // JCT Kitchen + Bar

JCT Kitchen + Bar was one of my favorite spots in Atlanta. The drinks are great and the food was more than I could handle but it was so delicious. I ordered the fried chicken. The side it originally came with was collard greens, but I asked if I could switch it for mac + cheese instead. They were able to switch it out for me and it was a great decision {it had bacon!}. The chicken was tender with a crispy outside. I couldn't finish it all because I had 3 {huge} pieces. You also get a piece of bread while your food is being prepared - so don't eat it too fast because it's a huge piece and you don't want to get full before your entree comes out.

Assorted Items // Hop's Chicken

Hop's Chicken was a little place in Ponce City Market. You order your items individually to make a meal. I decided to get chicken tenders, a chicken leg, potato hashbrowns, and mac and cheese with a sweet tea. What I liked about this place is all of the workers were so kind. While we were ordering, we asked the cashier about their collard greens and mac + cheese and she gave us a sample. She also let us sample the lemonade when we asked for refills on our sweet tea. I poured the lemonade into my tea to make an Arnold Palmer. It was a good decision.

Peanut Butter French Toast // Highland Bakery

Highland Bakery is a great spot for brunch. I wrote a more detailed blog post you can check out here.

Croque Madame // Sun in My Belly

Sun in My Belly was my favorite brunch spot. It's cute and adorable and the food is not only delicious, but filling. Check out my blog post to read more about it.

Dessert Cocktail // King of Pops

King of Pops is a very popular popsicle shop / stand in Atlanta. They have carts in various spots and a location in Ponce City Market. You can order the popsicle on its own or as a dessert cocktail {aka poptails!}. They were out of the poptail I wanted, so I chose the poptail with prosecco and a fruity popsicle. I don't regret my decision.
