Ashley Monroe David Nail Little Big Town
I didn't make it for the whole set of Ashley Monroe. I was able to see one of her perform two songs - which she did an amazing job. For her last song, there was a moment where she just jammed with her band. It went on for a few minutes, but it was so awesome to see.
I've seen David Nail perform a few times, but always acoustically. So I was pretty stoked to see him perform with a full band. He didn't disappoint.
One of my favorite parts of the set was when he talked about how Nashville said he didn't sound country enough, but his dad told him that he didn't have to sound country to be country. I honestly think he sounds pretty country and am glad he didn't give up his dream of being a country singer because we would all be missing out!
LITTLE. BIG. TOWN.
I was so excited when I realized they were coming to Boston and playing in the Seaport. I somehow was lucky enough to find a seat in the SECOND row. Of course, once I found that deal, I couldn't pass it up!
I'm so glad I went to the show. Little Big Town is one of my favorite groups. Ever. I fell in love with them the day I heard Boondocks. I love their harmonies. They're basically perfection. They have pure talent. LBT could have sang to me all night and I wouldn't have cared. At all. I also really want to be BFFs with all of them.
Their set was so amazing. LBT sung all of their major hits, songs from their newest album, and brought back some old songs such as Bones andBring It On Home. My absolute all time favorite LBT song is Boondocks - and they sung that song last. I sang my little heart out though when it came on.
If you ever get a chance to see LBT in concert DO IT. You will never regret it.
