Gavin DeGrawShania Twain 7:30 PM TD Garden Boston, Massachusetts
Shania Twain has been one of my favorite artists for as long as I can remember. Her hit CD, Come On Over, was the first CD I ever owned. So, of course, I had to go see the woman on her last tour!
I am so glad I went, because I had an absolute blast. Shania is amazing. She sang a variety of her hits. Mainly most of them were from the Come On Over album, but I didn't mind because that CD is my favorite. She sounded amazing live. She sounded as though you were listening to the CD.
I was surprised that Gavin DeGraw was her opening act, but he was terrific! He even came out and sang Party for Two with Shania. He only sang for about 30 to 40 minutes. I thought he would sing for at least an hour since he is her only opening act.
sidenote: Seeing Shania with blonde hair is weird. I am a fan of Shania with brown hair.
In true Shania fashion, she had two costume changes in the night. For the first costume change, her band played music and a little song to distract us from her not being there. For the second intermission, a video was shown. It was pretty cool how the intermissions went. I figured if there were costume changes, that it would be different. I've never been to a concert with costume changes.
